In year 1 of the master’s course, priority is given to acquiring the terminology you need to discuss a variety of issues related to  language acquisition and language teaching. In year 2, the perspective shifts to more practical issues. The course begins in “remote learning mode” with online instruction in English (6 H) followed by two immersive - and hopefully transformative - workshop sessions,  which will be held in-person (3 + 3 H). The main objective is to experiment activities (in English) that you might want to adapt later to you own teaching practice (in French as a foreign or second language): slam poetry writing and reading; stage adaptations of literary works using simple “tableau vivant” techniques, and much more.

- 1 écrit de synthèse remis en fin de semestre : journal de bord guidé, complété par des micro-tâches de lecture, d’écriture et de visionnage (60 %)

- 1 oral de synthèse : participation à deux ateliers « jouer la langue / performing language» de formation professionnelle aux méthodes d’enseignement-apprentissage par-corps (embodied learning). (L’évaluation est centrée sur la participation et l’implication, non sur le niveau de langue, qui varie nécessairement d’un sujet à l’autre) (40 %)

L’évaluation tient compte du niveau de départ et s’ajuste aux possibilités de chacun.e. Cependant, un niveau minimal B1 est requis pour pouvoir suivre les enseignements dans de bonnes conditions.
